Hey MCK’s, Today We Are Going To Talk About The Google Chrome’s New Features Update. Especially From The Time Of Being Announced As The Most Vulnerable Browser On the Internet Google Chrome Is Trying To Be Proving Their Browser Is The Safest In That Process Google Chrome Announced Some Of Its New Features. Without Any Delay Let’s Delve Into Those Features.

Google Has Announced Their New plans To improve its browser Google Chrome by adding some security checks and some features. Let’s See What those are:

First and Foremost they fixed their long-standing vulnerability of accessing HTTP://Url Links as These links could lead to the download of any malicious or harmful files to the system as the HTTP Protocol Transfers the data in plain text. This is one of the main reasons Why Google Chrome is listed as the most vulnerable browser. Finally, they fixed this as they have announced that from the next update of google chrome, any links coming from anywhere users can be able to view that in HTTPS:// Url form which makes it a little bit more secure.

Another Security Feature that Google is claiming to release in the next few months that I personally liked is that we all know that harmful extensions can cause tremendous harm to our systems with their updates and privacy policies until now they are able to delete those harmful extensions from their Chrome stores but they are not able to automatically delete those extensions from the people who downloaded those harmful extensions finally Google was able to fix this also by automatically deleting the extensions from the User’s device and it is also asking whether they wish to review the extension or remove the extension in any case of whether the publisher unpublishing the extension or google chrome browser detects it as a harmful extension.

Google also said it will show a warning starting in mid-September 2023 when users attempt to download high-risk files while on an insecure connection. “Downloaded files can contain malicious code that bypasses Chrome’s sandbox and other protections, so a network attacker has a unique opportunity to compromise your computer when insecure downloads happen,” the Chromium team said.

“Unless HTTPS-First Mode is enabled, Chrome will not show warnings when insecurely downloading files like images, audio, or video, as these file types are relatively safe.”Some of the other features that are in the pipeline include enabling HTTPS-First Mode by default in Incognito Mode for a more secure browsing experience and automatically turning the setting on for users who rarely use HTTP.Users can enable HTTPS-First Mode by enabling “Always use secure connections” in Chrome security settings. The updates also follow Google’s proposals to add support for quantum-resistant encryption algorithms in the Chrome browser, starting with version 116.

In a digital landscape where online security is paramount, Google’s proactive efforts to protect users and keep them informed are crucial. As users eagerly await the arrival of Chrome 117 and its host of security features, the tech community is looking forward to a safer and more secure browsing experience.
