Hey Mck’s, Today we are going to talk about the arrest of two teenage hackers in the UK for their major involvements in the cybercrime network and their involvement with the major databases that happened in the UK. Without any delay let’s delve into the topic.

In a recent headline-making verdict, two British teenagers have been found guilty by a London court for their involvement in a string of big-time cyberattacks. These hacks targeted well-known tech companies like Uber, Revolut, and Rockstar Games. The duo was part of a global gang called LAPSUS$, and they didn’t just stop at breaking into these companies — they demanded money to keep their stolen data under wraps. The story starts with a guy named Arion Kurtaj (also known by his online nicknames White, Breachbase, WhiteDoxbin, and TeaPotUberHacker) and an unnamed younger partner. They met on the internet in July 2021 and decided to team up for some not-so-legal activities. They got into trouble and were arrested in early 2022, but that didn’t stop them.

These guys had a knack for swapping SIM cards and launching sudden digital attacks to sneak into company systems. Before that, they spent time fooling people with social tricks. Once in, they played a wild game — they’d post messages on a Telegram channel asking for help from insiders who could hand over secret access codes to company networks. These hackers took their game a step further by trying to break into phone companies. A report from the U.S. government revealed they were willing to pay up to $20,000 per week to get into these networks and mess things up. They got personal details about their targets and used some sneaky tricks to get hold of special codes. These codes let them take control of online accounts, locking out the real owners.

The hackers didn’t just stick to small fries. They went after big names like BT, EE, Microsoft, and others. It’s not clear if any of these companies paid these cyber bandits to keep quiet about the info they stole. Now, these two hackers are waiting to hear their punishment. Their story tells us how bold and clever cyber criminals can be. This mess also shows that keeping digital stuff safe isn’t as easy as it sounds. Companies, big and small, need to stay on their toes to keep hackers like these from messing with people’s data and causing chaos.

So, there you have it — two young hackers, a bunch of big hacks, and a London court that said “nope” to their cyber antics. It’s a reminder that even in the virtual world, actions have consequences. While these hackers thought they could outsmart tech giants, they ended up facing the music. The digital landscape might be full of cool tricks and hidden paths, but this case shows that the law can catch up, even in the ever-evolving world of hacking. Stay safe out there, folks, and remember, not all shortcuts lead to success — some just lead to trouble.
